In 2016-17, Collin was an associate instructor for the Jacobs School of Music's MUS-A 100: Introduction to Personal Recording course. Curriculum topics centered around engineering, mixing, signal flow, and the application of technology in both professional and personal audio recording. Collin also spoke to prospective students of the JSOM Recording Arts program, as well as instructing members of WIUX in the subjects of equipment troubleshooting, signal flow, and radio production as leader of the station's Engineering, Programming, and Production Committees.
Lyons Township High School
After graduating from Lyons Township High School in 2013, Collin was hired as a teaching assistant and supervisor for the school's Radio Production summer school course with WLTL La Grange. Starting in June 2013, Collin worked with Intercollegiate Broadcasting System President Chris Thomas as an instructor and in the creation of new curriculum based upon FCC regulation, broadcast standards and ethics, and multimedia production through the summer of 2016.
